(Original information)
For those teams who are now finished games for the season, please make arrangements with Nancy Watkins, the KDMHA approved tailor, for removal of name bars from your team jerseys. This was included in the cost of having the name bars put on the jerseys, and the jersey policy (
LINK) requires that it be done by a professional.
Note that jerseys must be WASHED before providing to Nancy (when washing, make sure you hang to dry as the dryer damages the material). Also, please provide them to Nancy in a laundry basket or tote- she does not want the hangers and garment bags.
The equipment convenor will schedule jersey return at a date TBD - DO NOT wait until the last minute to make arrangements to have name bars removed!
Thank you,
KDMHA
This is for my hockey teams!
As the season is wrapping up for some, please get your jerseys to me soon for namebar removal. Almost every team has already paid for this service. If your team has not qualified for playoffs,
DO NOT wait until a week before they must be returned to the equipment convenor to contact me.
Couple of things to make it easier:
- They must be washed before I get them. You canNOT imagine how bad some of them smell! Lol
- When washing your jerseys, hang to dry. Do not use the dryer as it damages the material.
- Hand them in to me in a laundry basket or something like that. I do not want the hangers/garment bags as they are too heavy and time consuming.
- Both of my kids’ teams have qualified for playoffs and Provincials so I am still at the rink a few times a week and can meet you there. If those times don’t work, you’ll have to get them to me at my shop at Ayling’s Marina in Merrickville. (map)
- Call, email, or text me to make arrangements.
Hope everyone had a great season!
