Evaluators

As set out in our Rules & Regulations, the Evaluation Team will include a minimum of three (3) independent Qualified Evaluators. The selection of these evaluators is based on the following criteria: 

• The evaluator has a strong hockey knowledge, having played at a high level of hockey and/or having many years of experience coaching minor hockey, preferably at a competitive level.
• The evaluator makes themselves available at all sessions, especially sessions 1 through 3. 
• Evaluators must have no potential conflicts of interest with the players trying out and may not have a player in the same division

Students

• Looking for Students to help with Camps and House Sorts from Grade 8 to Grade 12
• must be on a Storm or Royals Roster 
• a minimum of 1 level above the team they are helping with. They can not be lower or the same level
• may not participate in any drills, scrimmages like a player would and can only be demonstrators or helpers
• players under 15 must wear full gear (like a player), this is an added KDMHA requirement 
• players 15 and older may wear CSA certified helmet and facial protection, BNQ neck guard (as required for their level), gloves and skates
