Dear KDMHA Families,
Please see letter to District 1 families (link). District 1 applies to Royals players.
At this time, we do not have an approved Return to Hockey Framework for Storm, but KDMHA is in the process of going through the steps with governing bodies to have a plan approved.
KDMHA will have further Association details out soon. In the next few days, families will receive a Return to Hockey email asking if players will continue to play under this Non-Traditional format.
Registration will formally close August 31 and will not reopen for the remainder of the year. If hockey returns to Traditional hockey this 20/21 season, no new registration will open.
Please do not send emails to cancel registration. Once you receive the survey and reply, your intent to not play we will remove the registration and issue a refund (if payment has been submitted). Emails sent to the Registrars and Treasurer for cancellations and refunds will not be replied to at this time.
This survey will help us determine the final cost for the upcoming season and start to plan for the number of groups we can make in each bubble.
For any questions in regard to the Return to Hockey for KDMHA, please forward all emails to returntohockey@kemptvillehockey.com. Questions sent here will be answered as well be in a FAQ to be sent out in the coming weeks.
We will continue to share any updated information from all our governing bodies on our website and social media (Facebook / Instagram: @KemptvilleDMHA and Twitter: @KDMHA).
We appreciate the patience everyone has had while we wait for direction from our governing bodies, Municipality, and health organizations. While hockey will look different this year, KDMHA remains committed to getting the kids on the ice for development and scrimmages.
