Registration
Registration for the 2025-2026 is now open!
Please read below instructions carefully as registration for this season will done through HCR for Royals and RAMP for Storm.

Important Registration Information:

Registration numbers will be limited in all divisions so early registration is crucial to ensure a place for your participant.

NEW PLAYERS and NEW RESIDENTS: Although there is no deadline for new players, we encourage you to register as soon as possible to guarantee your child a spot. A copy of your child's birth certificate and proof of address (for Royals) is required
- Registration is first-come, first-serve, and spots will fill up. As in previous years, registering early helps the KDMHA executive plan for the upcoming season.
- Storm or Royals players trying out for competitive teams with other associations must still register with KDMHA by completing the online registration form with KDMHA. Please indicate in registration your intention to tryout elsewhere (ie Kings/Cyclones/Other Girls teams). Do NOT make a payment unless you know your child will be playing with KDMHA. If your child is placed on a competitive team with another association, please advise the Royals or Storm registrar as soon as it is known.
- Payment for Tryouts are required to be paid in full prior to attending regardless if player is trying out for another Association or comes from another Association.
- Registration and Payment (in Full) Due Date is July 31- after this date, a $150 late payment fee will apply.

 A player may only be released once per season- if your player is released, they are not able to return to KDMHA until the next season, at the earliest. No player releases will be processed without confirmation from the family.

KDMHA Fundraiser Fee
** Changes for 2025/26 season:
KDMHA has modified the existing mandatory fundraising fee of $80/player. The maximum per family will continue to be $160/2 players and the $80 fundraising fee will continue to automatically be added to each registration.
Fundraising Lottery Option
Families who wish to recover the cost of the fundraising fee can opt into the KDMHA Lottery during registration by selecting the “Lottery” option.
► If you select “Lottery”:
You will receive 8 lottery tickets per registered player (valued at $10 each, totaling $80).
Maximum of 16 tickets per family ($160 for two players).
You can sell the tickets to recover your cost (in accordance with the lottery license terms and conditions linked on the lottery page) or write your own name on them for a chance to win.
► If you do NOT select “Lottery”:
This indicates that you are opting out of the lottery, and you will not receive tickets. The fundraising fee of $80 still applies.
Additional Details
Tickets will be distributed early in the season.
Completed ticket stubs must be returned by November 16, 2025, to be included in the draw.
Limited number of tickets will be printed, increasing your chances to win.
Winning tickets will be returned to the draw for additional chances (i.e., multiple prizes possible with one ticket).
Draws will take place daily from December 1 to December 18, 2025. Prizes and draw details TBD.

TRYOUT FAQ
Notes:
- Conditioning Camps will be provided to all players and included in registrations. Details for Camp dates and times will be provided by Convenor
- Storm U18 Tier 4 will take place the second half of August. Schedule will be posted on the tryout tab once finalized: http://kemptvillehockey.com/page.php?page_id=125543
- U9 and U11 tryouts will be held after Labour Day, as per Hockey Canada player pathways
Players must register and pay in full before attending any ice sessions
If your child is successful in placing on a rep/competitive team, an additional registration cost $100 will be required at the start of season. NEW! The Rep/Comp fee will be added to players registration and is to be paid by family the same way as registration.
For Storm camps: Ontario Women's Hockey states that camps can ONLY be offered to those players who are registered with Kemptville Storm. Any players who are not from our association CANNOT attend our camps, as it will be considered player tampering.
