Tryouts
New this Fall for Tryouts!
All releases and final team rosters will be posted to the Royals Tryout or Storm Tryout tab.
After tryout 2 (U13 to U18) or after tryout 3 (U9 and U11) players moving onto the last tryout(s) will be posted by the RAMP or HCR ID (as per below). If your players ID number is not listed, they have been released to House Sorts.
Final team rosters by same ID will be posted after the last tryout within 24 hours of the tryout session.
For Storm, this is the player's RAMP ID. For instructions (including screenshots) for locating your player's RAMP ID, click here

Please note: any request for player feedback after the final release MUST be after 24 hours. Any emails recieved prior to the 24 hour notification will not be reviewed or answered.
If you would still like to request player feedback after the 24 hours has lapsed, please note that due to the volume of players and the competitive nature of the process we are no longer providing detailed feedback. Feedback may be provided to reflect where your player aligned to the average of the skills evaluated (ie skating, puck control, shooting, and game play). Decisions are made by a volunteer selection committee that includes the head coach, convenor, VP and President, and are not open to discussion or appeal.
Next Steps Following Tryouts:
- Should your player receive an offer to play on a rep or competitive team, you will have 48 hours to accept the spot and if you have not already registered for the season, you must register and pay in full to secure your spot on the team. No acceptance, or confirmation of registration and payment within the 48 hours will result in your spot being relinquished.
- There is also a $100 competitive player fee that will be added to your player registration by the Registrar for all Storm U9 and U11 Competitve Teams. Royals Rep teams will be collected by the team manager. Once the team is made, if you are unsure what has/has not been paid, please reach out to your Registrar or the treasurer before making another payment.
