Royals Playoffs

 PLAYOFFS 

The 2021-2022 season playoffs for UCMHL will be in a tournament style double knockout format.

A team must lose twice to be eliminated.

Higher seed team based on standings will typically host the game.

Period lengths for U11 will be 3 x 10 minutes of stop time.

Period lengths for U13, U15 & U18 will be 3 x 15 minutes of stop time.

To accommodate for overtime, games will end with 10 minutes left in running time.

Game is considered played when pre-curfew sounds to start overtime even if game is not tied and there is 10 minutes remaining on curfew clock.

Overtime will consist of a 5 minutes of 3 on 3 running time with no changing of ends.

If teams are still tied after 3 on 3 simultaneous shootout begins.

One goal difference declares winner.

Shootout can be over with one shooter.
