The following competitive teams are projected for the upcoming 2024-25 season:

U18 Tier 1 (AA), Tier 2 (A/BB) and Tier 3 (B/C)

U15 Tier 1 (A/BB), Tier 2 (B) and Tier 3 (C)

U13 Tier 1 (BB/B) and Tier 2 (B/C)
-
U11 Tier 1 (BB/B) and Tier 2 (B/C)

U9 Tier 1
The level of play, number of players on a roster and/or number of teams is subject to change depending on overall numbers of players registered and outcomes of tryouts.
It is KDMHA’s intent to select full competitive teams in the Spring for Tier 1 U18-U13 teams and Tier 2 U15 and U18 teams.
Tryout dates are being finalized. Please save the following dates:
U18 Tier 1: May 2 to May 10, 2024
U15 Tier 1: April 17 to April 24, 2024
U13 Tier 1: April 17 to April 24, 2024

Players must attend a tryout session to be considered eligible for a competitive team. We do encourage players to attend all sessions.

Players who are not successful in higher Tier tryouts must register separately and pay for additional tryouts.
Tier 2 Tryout dates:
U18 Tier 2: May 14 to May 22, 2024
U15 Tier 2: May 2 to May 10, 2024
Cost:

$100 - Tier 1 Competitive Tryouts

$80 - All other Storm Competitive Tryouts

Players must register and pay for tryouts before attending the first session. See How Do I Pay?

There are no refunds for tryouts.

If your player wishes to try out elsewhere- please request an OWHA Permission to Tryout form from either the Vice President, Storm (VPstorm@kemptvillehockey.com) or Storm Registrar (stormregistrar@kemptvillehockey.com) at least 72hrs in advance of the first tryout.

Any players that did not play with Kemptville Storm last season but have played with an Ontario Women’s Hockey Association team previously, you must provide a Permission to Tryout form signed by your previous OWHA association, or have been released from your last registered OWHA association.

Next Steps:
- If your player is successful in being placed on a Storm Competitive team, a non-refundable $200 deposit towards season registration costs is payable to KDMHA within 48hrs.
- For those players successful in being placed on the Thunder U18 AA team, a non-refundable $500 deposit towards season registration is payable to KDMHA within 48 hrs.
- Full Payment Details can be found on KDMHA website under How Do I Pay.
- Registration for the season and registration fees will be posted in the coming weeks on the Registration Tab for the 2024/25 Season
- Season registration must be paid in full by July 31, or a $150 late payment fee will be applied.
- An additional registration cost of $75 per player for competitive teams (excluding U18 AA) will be required at the start of the season. This fee is payable to the Team Manager once the team is formed, who will remit one cheque for the full amount to KDMHA.
